Kevin Kilbane raves about 23-year-old Man United star

Paul Pogba's penalty in second-half stoppage time was too little, too late for disjointed United.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has shrugged off criticism from Manchester United counterpart Jose Mourinho regarding the club's new behind-the-scenes documentary. We were punished by the mistakes.

Glenn Murray marked his 200th Brighton appearance with the opening goal in the 25th minute, before further goals from Shane Duffy and Pascal Gross - from the penalty spot - left United reeling.

"If I was in your position, I think this game today would give me quite a lot of material to write about".

'Sometimes you make mistakes and are not punished but we were punished by every mistake we made. "Will Hughes scored an outstanding goal, I am happy for all of them".

'We came here with a certain intention and then you score the first goal and hopefully reach the second half at 2-1. "Please tell me the Monstars have stolen your talent #SpaceJam".

Paul Pogba 6 - Had a chaotic first half, often losing the ball in key areas, but at the very least showed some fight in the second, driving play forward in any way he could and forcing Matt Ryan into a good save. "We never allowed them to get into the type of game they would like".

Mourinho was unhappy with the Amazon Prime documentary revealing comments from inside the City dressing room during their title-winning season, which he felt were derogatory towards himself and United.

"But if they send me one of the shirts they had in the tunnel when we played there, the shirts that were saying "We did it on Derby Day". But I agree with him, class you can not buy". I'm not agreeing with Jose in terms of [being] disrespectful.

"Mourinho is right. Class is something which can not be bought", said Guardiola when asked about the Portuguese tactician's comments.

I thought Jose's stuff on city was.that's what I expect from Jose. We did it for ourselves.

Mourinho doesn't stay longer than three years at a club and, despite signing a new contract in January that runs until 2020, many are starting to wonder whether this - his third season at Old Trafford - will be his last.

"But it's Jose opinion, other guys are going to say we like [it], another guy says, "No".
