The Italian born tactician joined the Blues this summer after replacing Antonio Conte at the Stamford Bridge.

Bakayoko joined Chelsea last summer from Monaco in a £40 million deal and started 25 Premier League games.

New Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has reportedly declared France worldwide Tiémoué Bakayoko surplus to requirement this season.

They are also set to sign highly-rated Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic on a season-long loan.

CHELSEA star Willian has spoken about Barcelona's attempts to sign him after insisting he is happy to remain at the club.

"It will be interesting whether or not we see one or two Chelsea midfield players go by the end of [the window], you never know".

At a press conference, Sarri told reporters: "Now I think the squad is too large". I prefer to have 23, 24 players and three or four very young players. "I always made it clear that what I wanted was to stay in the club".
