Timothy Fosu-Mensah has joined Fulham on a season-long loan from Manchester United, becoming the Cottagers ninth summer signing.

Fosu-Mensah joins Joe Bryan, Luciano Vietto and Sergio Rico in moving to Craven Cottage on Deadline Day, with the Premier League newcomers also agreeing to sign Marseille midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa for £22.3m.

Fulham are believed to be in talks with Atletico Madrid over a move for Spanish winger Oscar Pinchi.

Fosu-Mensah will spend a second consecutive season with the London club.

However, he spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace playing some 21 times without scoring.

VIETTO first signed with Atletico in 2015 (he was at Villarreal beforehand) where he was later loaned out to Sevilla and Valencia.

Mourinho spoke about how he only sends players out on loan for the sake of their own development and so they're guaranteed minutes.

Speaking after joining Fulham, Fosu-Mensah told the club's website: "I have a good feeling about the Club". "I'm excited to start training, to meet all my teammates and, above all, to enjoy the season that starts this Saturday".

There hit list so far includes Jean Michael Seri, Maxime Le Marchand, Fabricio Agosto Ramirez, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Alfie Mawson and Calum Chambers.
