Thibaut Courtois infuriates Chelsea fans with 'disrespectful' Eden Hazard comment

The 23-year-old Spaniard replaces Thibaut Courtois, who has finally secured his move to La Liga giants Real Madrid.

Champions League-winning goalkeeper Keylor Navas is hell-bent on staying at Real Madrid despite the arrival of Thibaut Courtois.

Real Madrid announced in its statement Courtois will sign a six-year contract, and the club will present him to its fans Thursday at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

Chelsea have taken Croatia worldwide Mateo Kovacic on a season-long loan from Real as part of the deal. He helped the Blues win two Premier League titles, one FA Cup and one League Cup during his time at Stamford Bridge.

Courtois is set to be confirmed as a Real Madrid player imminently, with Chelsea paying a world record fee for a keeper as they signed Kepa Arrizabalaga for over £71m on Wednesday. The Belgium goalkeeper was the victor of the Golden Glove award at the Russian Federation 2018 Fifa World Cup.

Kepa is second choice for Spain behind Manchester United's David de Gea.

Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri praised Arrizabalaga on Tuesday.

"The Spanish global goalkeeper arrives ahead of the new Premier League season, having signed a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge", Chelsea said in a statement.

Kepa had been with Athletic since 2004, rising through the youth ranks.

Meanwhile, Kepa will replace the Belgium worldwide in a deal that will see him become the world's most expensive goalkeeper, surpassing the £65m paid by Liverpool to Roma for Brazil goalkeeper Alisson Becker last month.

"The Croatian midfielder joined Marcelo, Varane, Casemiro and Kovacic, who did individual work in the gym".
