Blizzard Has Multiple ‘Diablo’ Projects In The Works

In a new video shared earlier today on the series' Official Facebook Page, Associate Community Manager Brand Camel confirms that multiple Diablo projects are now in the works, some releasing earlier than others.

We're working on a new, unannounced Diablo project. "We hope you stay tuned while we work to bring these Diablo experiences to life".

Diablo III first launched back in 2012 for the PC, before it headed over to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2013.

Today, Blizzard put out a new video on Twitter which reveals more about the future of the Diablo franchise.

It's safe to guess that one of those is the next big Diablo game - that's likely the one that's going to take longer than others - and we're pretty sure that another is a port of Diablo 3 to Switch.

According to Camel, "multiple Diablo projects" are in the works, and the team "may" have some things to show regarding the projects this year.

In a recent video update, Nevalistis affirms that some of the projects will take a while-we predicted Diablo IV wouldn't be ready any time soon-but we could get announcements later this year. It will likely reveal more during BlizzCon 2018, which takes place November 2-3 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.
