Michael Jordan responds to Donald Trump tweet

"He's doing an wonderful job for his community".

Trump bashed James in a tweet Friday night saying that CNN's Don Lemon is the "dumbest man on television" and that he made James "look smart".

Trump's timing is curious to say the least considering the fact that James' CNN interview was not the first time he voiced his displeasure at Trump's leadership.

To the sporting world and largely beyond, he's King James, but to President Trump, LeBron James' is no intellectual genius.

"A man who puts kids in classrooms or one who puts kids in cages?" he posted, referring to a school that James has started for at-risk children in his hometown and the Trump administration policy of separating children from families crossing into the U.S. illegally.

On Friday night, President Donald Trump unleashed a three-line insult for NBA-star LeBron James.

Lemon responded to Trump's tweet on Saturday morning.

Earlier this week, James celebrated the opening of the new I Promise School in his hometown of Akron, Ohio.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich, a Republican, defended James in a tweet, praising the star's philanthropy and his I Promise school, and wading into a long-running debate as to who's better: LeBron or MJ.

Donald Trump, 72, may be caught in a feud with National Basketball Association star LeBron James, 33, but his wife Melania Trump, 48, is not getting involved! James also mentioned Colin Kaepernick, who was targeted by Trump for his protests over racial injustice by kneeling during the anthem. "Maybe you'd like to talk about the 160,000 kids who skip school every day for fear of being bullied, or that 280,000 students are physically attacked in schools every month", Grisham told CNN.

On Thursday his daughter Ivanka said the family separations marked a low point of her time at the White House and also said she did not view the news media as "the enemy of the people", despite her father's stance. She is undeniably one of the most fashionable First Ladies, however, her presence is still a mystery.

"In response, a spokeswoman for Melania Trump said that the first lady watches 'any channel she wants, '" the Hill reported.
