Cleveland Browns Trade Corey Coleman To Buffalo Bills For A Draft Pick

Bills general manager Brandon Beane described the trade to acquire receiver Corey Coleman from Cleveland as a low-risk gamble in a bid to address an unsettled position in Buffalo.

Buffalo also released wide receiver Quan Bray.

The Cleveland Browns traded the 24-year-old wide receiver to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, the teams announced.

Coleman has been hurt a lot with two broken hands. Brown got back draft picks in return and used one on Coleman, a speed burner from Baylor who was considered undersized by most draft experts. "I don't know what type of changes, but some need to be made". In his first two seasons, Coleman tallied 56 catches for 718 yards and five touchdowns.

Coleman played in nine games last season for the Browns, making eight starts. There are numerous reasons why this is the case, but near the top of the list is the franchise's utter inability to choose good players with their selections in the early portion of the draft, a place it often finds itself thanks to its previously mentioned badness. Cleveland will receive a future draft pick in the deal. He was selected by the Browns after they sent their number 2 overall pick to the Philadelphia Eagles.

In his first 29 National Football League games, Wentz completed 644 of his 1,047 attempts (61.5 percent) for 7,078 yards and 49 touchdowns against 21 interceptions.

Prior to tearing multiple ligaments in his left knee, including the ACL, in a win over the Los Angeles Rams last December, Wentz completed 265 passes for 3,296 yards and 33 touchdowns against seven interceptions and was considered a potential NFL MVP candidate.
