Demi Lovato Reportedly Hospitalized for Heroin Overdose

According to a People source "close to the singer", she is now in "stable" condition after initially being found unconscious at home.

The 25-year-old singer-songwriter, who is now on the third leg of her Tell Me You Love Me world tour, was reportedly taken to a Los Angeles hospital after being found unconscious at her home on Tuesday, according to NBC.

Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart said paramedics received a call about a woman in need of medical attention at 11:22 a.m. Tuesday.

She is now undergoing treatment and her condition is not yet known.

Lovato has struggled with substance abuse over the years and at one point she lived in a sober living home.

The family of singer and X Factor judge Demi Lovato is asking for "privacy and speculation" as she recovers in hospital following a suspected drug overdose.

Lovato previously completed a stint in rehab at age 18 for drugs, self-harm and an eating disorder before finally getting clean in 2012. On the song "Sober", she sings the lyrics: "Momma, I'm so sorry I'm not sober anymore/And daddy please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor".

In 2017 doco Simply Complicated, Lovato spoke about experimenting with cocaine at 17 and that she "loved it" right away.

"We kinda need our money back", added her friend Samantha Harsh, who paid $250 for four tickets. It IS possible, ' Demi posted in March, talking proudly about her incredible victory.

In fact, she even released a touching song titled Sober through which she expressed how she felt like she'd disappointed her fans and loved ones by breaking her six years of sobriety.

Commenting on her health issues in the documentary, she said: "I felt out of control the first time I did it".

She sings: "Mommy, I'm so sorry I'm not sober anymore".

According to Entertainment Tonight, her last appearance was Sunday at the California Mid-State Fair, where she performed alongside Iggy Azalea.
