Dragon Quest XI Gets New Trailer During Square Enix Video Showcase

A Square Enix representative told IGN that the planned Nintendo Switch version for the West will not ship this year, and it may ship "much later". Unfortunately, most third parties just don't have enough games to justify lengthy press conferences.

A brand new game from Square Enix, Babylon's Fall takes place in the far future and perhaps mimics the fall of real-world Babylon in 500s BCE.

A live action trailer seamlessly morphs into an a CG fight sequence in the teaser for "The Quiet Man". It will launch on September 4 on PS4 and PC. We also got a good taste of what's to come with the the localized version of the title on PS4 and PC.

A number of Square Enix titles have already been revealed at some of the other showcases including Kingdom Hearts III and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Just Cause 4 was the same - a competent trailer, but one that fans had basically seen during the Xbox showcase. There is no word of a release date. The dialogue was pretty very bad though and it wasn't made any better by the British-accented voiceovers.

After an exciting day full of announcements from Microsoft and Bethesda on Sunday, Square Enix is kicking things off on Monday with its first E3 press conference since 2015.

The world's of Final Fantasy XIV and Monster Hunter: World are coming together under one roof this summer in what appears to be a collaboration that pits Final Fantasy characters against beasts from Monster Hunter.
