Trump throws G-7 into disarray with tweets after he leaves

Krishnamoorthi, who represents Illinois' 8th District, said Trudeau's comments will only hurt the long-term relationship between the United States and Canada.

If not, can someone explain what the public is seeing in this video? "Trudeau stuck our president in the back and that will not stand".

What do YOU think?

And it comes at a time when Trudeau's in need of some help as the American leadership is publicly bashing him hard.

The director of the national economic council under the Trump administration, Larry Kudlow, said during a CNN interview that Justin Trudeau stabbed the U.S.in the with his comments during a press conference held after U.S. President Donald Trump left the summit.

The president spoke at a spontaneous news conference at the G7 summit in Canada.

Following the G7 leaders summit, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau held a press conference criticizing USA tariffs and said that Canada "will not be pushed around".

The joint statement between the leaders of the U.S., France, Germany, the U.K., Japan, Italy, and Canada comes after President Trump refused to back down from his decision to impose global tariffs on goods, including steel and aluminum imports.

Trudeau told reporters that imposing retaliatory measures "is not something I relish doing" but that he wouldn't hesitate to do so because, "I will always protect Canadian workers and Canadian interests".

"Canadians, we're polite, we're reasonable, but we also will not be pushed around", Trudeau said. "He did a whole disservice to the whole G-7".

"He really kind of stabbed us in the back", Kudlow said.

"We have a tremendous trade imbalance", Trump said during Saturday's press conference.

In a mocking tone, Kudlow rattled off the reasons Trudeau offered for his barbed critique of Trump's policies.

Trump and Trudeau's feud only got worse this weekend after remarks made by both parties following the G-7 Summit in Charlevoix, Quebec. Trump tweeted that Trudeau was "very dishonest & weak".

"Those are my words", Navarro said later.

However, Harper, a conservative, said he understands why President Donald Trump believes the US needs better trade relationships with China and aspects of the country's trade relationship with Mexico, particularly its auto sector.

He did him a favour and he was even willing to sign that socialist communique.

After President Trump left, from Air Force One, he rage-tweeted an attack on Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and announced the US was revoking its agreement to accept the joint statement of the G-7 members. "I personally negotiated with Prime Minister Trudeau", Mr. Kudlow said.

Kudlow said Kim must not see "American weakness" on the eve of the Tuesday summit.

"They should have said to him, 'God speed, you are negotiating with the insane nuclear tyrant in North Korea, and we are behind you, '" Kudlow added.

Trump was on board Air Force One when he issued a series of tweets on Saturday, attacking Trudeau who he called "very dishonest" and "weak" and apparently pulling out of the joint statement.

Mr Trump also said he might double down on import tariffs by hitting the sensitive auto industry, throwing the G7's efforts to show a united front into disarray. Does he wear the makeup in the family? He accused him of "sophomoric play" for insulting the United States during his press conference. "I mean it's not a question of "I hope it changes".
