Halo Infinite announced for Xbox One, Windows 10

Microsoft announced the latest Halo game to open their E3 2018 press conference with Halo Infinite for Xbox One. The trailer eventually lands on what looks to be a group surveying the wilderness before pulling back to reveal Master Chief. Halo Infinite is the next chapter of the legendary franchise that is developed by 343 Industries and created with its new Slipspace Engine.

We'll keep you updated on any new information on Halo Infinite as it comes during this week's Electronic Entertainment Expo.

The full trailer shows a glimpse of the Master Chief himself, and there is some impressive landscape shots, hinting at an expansive environment. You can check out the trailer above!

Developer 343 Industries released the last entry in the series, Halo 5: Guardians, in 2015.

The trailer description on Youtube confirms what we heard from Microsoft previous year: the next Halo is coming to Windows 10 as well as the Xbox.
