Lil Wayne apparently wants LeBron James to sign with the Thunder

With the NBA Finals nearly over - the Cleveland Cavaliers trail 3-0 to the Golden State Warriors - the narrative is swiftly turning to the 2018 free agency window.

The NBA Free Agency period begins on July 1 and among of the most sought-after free agents available in the market include multi-titled superstar LeBron James.

Although the Lakers do not have much talent on the roster now, if James were to head to Los Angeles along with Paul George, as the report suggests, that would change quickly.

The Cavaliers ended up losing 124-114 in overtime and then were swept by the Golden State Warriors.James was visibly frustrated with Smith on the court.

"The last time they went to the Finals was '99, last time they won it was '73".

Green is not amongst those who think he and James will be teaming up in the Warriors blue and gold in the future though, as he believes it would be an either or situation if James actually does come to Golden State via free agency this summer.

Martin pointed to the fact James has a good relationship with Knicks head coach David Fizdale having worked together with the Miami Heat.

It does make sense for James to sign with the Warriors from the standpoint that he wants to win more rings.

Even with his consistent monster production against the Warriors, James has been failing in his attempt to tow Cleveland into at least one victory. "Miss it, so we can get a rebound". What Los Angeles can offer is ultimate flexibility for James to choose another free agent like Paul George or Chris Paul to join him in Los Angeles.

James has 6,888 career playoff points.

The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor reported there is a feeling around the league that the Lakers have a legitimate chance to sign James. Beating the Warriors - essentially by himself - was (and is) an impossible task.
