'Hitman 2' revealed with deadly trailer

The announcement was teased earlier this week, and then nearly inevitably leaked by Warner Bros. itself, because no one can keep it in their trousers nowadays. Interactive Entertainment President David Haddad, who talked about the new partnership with IO Interactive. It will be a direct sequel to Hitman, but unlike the previous title, which featured regular updates to its story via live content, Hitman 2's story will be revealed all at once on the day of launch (though there will still be some additional DLC, like new locations, released over time).

There will be a change in scenery as well, with players getting the chance to travel to various exotic locations featuring "hyper-detailed sandboxes" such as "dark and risky rainforests", and Miami during a motorsport race. It features multiple global locations, but it will highlight Miami and an in-progress motorsport race that form a key part of the game's story.

Hitman 2 comes out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 13.

The game will also get a Silver Edition, a Gold Edition, and a Collector's Edition.

Alongside the announcement trailer, IO Interactive has released a second trailer that details Sniper Assassin - a stand-alone online co-op game mode that tasks you and a friend to work together to take out targets.

The Silver Edition includes the Executive Pack (Blackballer Pistol and Italian Black Leather Briefcase) and the first expansion that will include a new location, new missions, a new sniper map, new outfits, and weapons. But, keep in mind that those who pre-purchase the Gold or Collector's Editions will get to play the game four days earlier than everyone else. Digital bonuses will be a Concussive Rubber Duck and a Midnight Black Suit. Hitman 2 will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC beginning November 13.
