Royal baker, Claire Ptak, owner of the London-based Violet bakery, is embarking on her biggest order yet: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding cake.

With the mother and daughter being so close, it's hardly surprising that Doria has a special role on the day, set to stay with Meghan in Windsor the night before the wedding and then ride in the vehicle to the church with her. "She and Prince Harry ask again for understanding and respect to be extended to Mr. Markle in this hard situation".

Meghan Markle's father, Thomas Markle, says he has changed his mind and wants to walk his daughter down the aisle as she marries Prince Harry at Saturday's royal wedding, he told U.S. celebrity news site TMZ on Tuesday.

"I think he wants to go to the hospital and get checked out", she said. The father of the bride said, "This is a historic moment. Knowing that they really share the same values as I do about food provenance, sustainability, seasonality and most importantly flavor, makes this the most exciting event to be a part of".

Thomas Markle, a retired Hollywood cinematographer who lives in Mexico, told TMZ he would receive a stent and other treatment for blocked coronary arteries on Wednesday morning.

It was not immediately possible to reach Thomas Markle for comment and it's not clear if he may change his plans again in the next few days.

The carriage will leave Castle Hill, travel through Windsor and then it will proceed up the Long Walk all the way back to St George's Hall by Windsor Castle. "Ms. Markle is delighted to have her parents by her side on this important and happy occasion".

He has since said it was his daughter and Meghan's half-sister who encouraged him to go ahead and work with the paparazzi for money. People confirmed that Thomas Markle would meet Prince Harry for the first time when he arrived in the United Kingdom a week before the ceremony. This weekend, reports in the London Times and The Mail on Sunday said that Markle was not only staging the portraits with the paparazzi, but getting paid for them.

Meghan's half-brother Thomas Markle Junior accused her of shunning the family in an open letter last month.

The site also said he suffered a heart attack less than a week ago, and was returning to the hospital Monday with more chest pains.

Thomas' daughter, Samantha, told TMZ he only received £1,100 ($1,500) in payment plus a small percentage of the royalties.

In what TMZ says is in an exclusive interview, the former lighting director is stepping down from his public role in the wedding after recent allegations.

Thomas told TMZ that his daughter called him on Monday, but he missed the call.

He said she also texted saying she loved him and was concerned about his health.

"He is a proud man who wants to be a father and not be taken care of, but it's quite hard".

"In the Charles and Diana days it was the war of the words played out in the newspapers via the couple's friends, so it's lovely to see that Harry and William, and by extension Meghan and Kate, are surrounded by such a tight group of friends".
