Teen crashes Blake Bortles party because he couldn't steal his truck: cops

Seems a Florida high school student happened upon a Jacksonville Beach house party Wednesday night and made a decision to help himself to an unlocked-with-the-wallet-and-keys-inside Ford F-150, police told WJXT-TV. Horton was caught on video trying to steal Bortles' truck.

It turns out that Horton had pilfered his new black Ford F-150 truck parked in front of the party, which was unlocked with its keys inside, according to TMZ. Bortles wallet, which was taken out of his truck, was later found outside of the home.

But he couldn't make his escape as the auto was boxed in by other vehicles.

Horton was arrested and charged with burglary, trespassing and grand theft.

Jaguars guard Chris Reed told police he was walking up Linder's driveway for a gathering when he saw someone inside Bortles' truck, according to the arrest report.

Neither the homeowner nor party guests recognized the man, which is when police were called. Surveillance video from Linder's home showed someone getting inside Bortles' truck and removing the quarterback's wallet that was later found in the driveway.

Horton foolishly chose to go back inside the house, which gave the Jags players the opportunity to stop him until the police arrived.

Oh, and after Horton gave police his address, a little research indicated that the residence is a multimillion-dollar home on the Intracoastal Waterway just a few blocks down the street, WJXT added. When officers arrived, Horton was standing under the close watch of Bortles and two of quarterback's friends.
