Samsung's foldable Galaxy X to launch at MWC 2019

In the network appeared new details about the next generation Samsung flagships - the Galaxy S10. The next entry into the best-selling Galaxy Note series is tipped to boost an improved dual-camera system, new stylus functionality for the S Pen, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

A couple of years already passed but the company has never released any mobile phone during the Consumer Electronics Show. It is logical to assume that the place of the announcement of the Galaxy S10 will be the CES 2019, which will be held from 8 to 11 January in Las Vegas. For example, the device would go internally under Samsung under the code name "Beyond". Rumor has it that the former will be unveiled in January at the CES 2019, while the latter will come out in February at the MWC 2019. The smartphone launch date is set for February 2019, according to South Korea's newspaper The Bell. Comparatively so, this was also the case being made for the Galaxy S9. It means Samsung Galaxy S8 Lite will be low price smartphone. The mobile phone market is now saturated by products with notches, reduced bezels, and other supposedly unique gimmicks. Until now the device was said to be in "long-term production" and carried the codename "Valley". Insiders claim that the firm's manufacturing arm will start to source components as early as November.

Not much is known about the hardware specifics of Galaxy X as of yet, but the report suggests that the prototype, which was allegedly revealed at the secret showcase at CES 2018 had a total of three OLED panels each of 3.5-inch size. While one screen is placed on the outside of the phone, the device features two separate display units on the inside. Earlier this year, Samsung CEO DJ Koh had claimed that the company will not be hurrying to launch the highly anticipated foldable phone.
