AT&T might sell the LG V35 instead of the G7 this year

Typically, seeing an "all-new" flagship device resembling its predecessor so strongly would make a lot of people mad, but at least the LG V35 ThinQ looks set to snub the notch trend the G7 ThinQ so controversially embraced. AT&T is also mentioned at top-left corner in the display of the LG V35 ThinQ in the first render.

The LG G7 Thinq hasn't hit United Kingdom shelves yet but O2 has already confirmed it will be the only supplier to stock the handset in Moroccan Blue. In the industry's quest to innovate the smartphone, manufacturers have mostly focused on the camera, the design, the screen, and security features. It looks to be a pretty solid camera suite on paper, and we've been impressed with LG's camera offerings before, so we're reasonably confident that LG will hit all the right buttons this time around.

If the image is an accurate representation of the phone LG will reveal later this year, it also confirms the presence of dual cameras and a rear-facing fingerprint sensor.

AT&T won't sell the LG G7 ThinQ, but it might sell the rumored LG V35 ThinQ.

Download the Nigeria Today app from Play store. For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel 90 degree wide angle Front camera. AT&T will not sell the G7 ThinQ flagship phone but it will introduce an exclusive LG Phone in the coming months. It packs a 3,000 mAh battery which comes with Quick Charge and wireless charging support. A Super Far Field Voice Recognition feature allows Google Assistant to be heard clearly from distances up to 5 meters. The smartphone is a Water and Dust resistant with IP68 rating. LG said the handset should be able to handle "harsh environments", as it meets military MIL-STD 810G requirements.

Per rumors, the G7 ThinQ will incorporate a notch design similar in style to the iPhone X but narrower. It's possible the phone will be an exclusive to AT&T in the USA, and will be sold by the carrier instead of the LG G7 ThinQ. It will be available in two different models with 128 GB and 256 GB size (memory card slot also included). LG promised to share that information "closer to the time of availability".
