Liz Hurley flies to London after nephew brutally stabbed

Elizabeth Hurley, 52, reportedly rushed to London after hearing her nephew Miles Hurley, 21, and another man around his age were brutally stabbed in Nine Elms, South West London. "Thank you for all your messages", she continued. "The police will be appealing for witnesses", Elizabeth Hurley tweeted early Saturday.

Metropolitan Police confirmed an attack, but as is standard procedure they could not reveal the victims' names.

Ahead of Elizabeth's social media post confirming the incident, The Sun had reported that the 52-year-old had flown back to the United Kingdom from NY, after being informed of the distressing news.

"Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service (LAS)".

Police say the 21-year-old model and another person were attacked by a group of men who got out of a vehicle.

According to the BBC, a group of men got out of a vehicle and assaulted Hurley's nephew - Miles Hurley, who is also a model - and his friend before fleeing.

Police have reassured family members and the public that their conditions are "not life-threatening or life-changing".

"A crime scene was put in place".

Elizabeth Hurley, whose sister is the victim's mother, was seen arriving in England on Friday in an apparent show of support for the nephew whose modeling career she has publicly supported.

A source told The Sun: 'His family feared the worst.

"Fortunately, it seems the knife missed his vital organs", the insider added.

Miles has done shoots for fashion king Roberto Carvalli and Dolce & Gabbana. Elizabeth has not commented on the incident, but she was photographed arriving at the Heathrow airport on March 9.
