The Trailer For Adam Sandler's New Film Has Just Dropped

The Week Of tells the story of a devoted, middle-class father, played by Sandler, who is determined to pay for his daughter's wedding despite the prodding of the wealthier father of the groom, who is played by Rock. It was directed by Robert Smigel, who wrote the script with Sandler.

The official trailer for Adam Sandler's new Netflix original film The Week Of is here.

If we're talking cast and crew, you should know that Sandler and Rock aren't the only amusing folks in "The Week Of", slated for an April 27 release. When both families come together for the big event, hijinks ensue (naturally). Rachel Dratch stars as Sandler's wife, with Sandler movie mainstay Steve Buscemi also appearing as a clueless and unhelpful relative. "Similar in the romantic comedy tone of Sandler's most recent film Sandy Wexler, this film will be the ideal vehicle for Sandler and Rock and their millions of fans around the world". Feel the familial tension rising when you watch the full trailer in the player below.

The Week Of is the fourth movie to be produced by Sandler's Happy Madison Productions as a part of his Netflix deal, joining fellow exclusives The Ridiculous 6, The Do-Over, and Sandy Wexler on the service.

Ever since their days working together on Saturday Night Live, Adam Sandler and Chris Rock have collaborated on a number of different projects.
